No interest is payable on the amount of the purchase during the interest free period. What are the fees and charges ?
The annual fee is $99, this is charged on the account open date (by Once Credit) and annually on the anniversary of the account open date. Interest is payable on any balance outstanding after the Interest Free term. Other fees and charges may apply as set out in the contract.
When is my first repayment due?
The first repayment is due one (1) month after the documents are settled by Once Credit.
How often will I get my statements?
A statement will be issued to you on a monthly basis approximately two weeks prior to the payment due date. You may receive you statement by email if you prefer.
What is the minimum monthly repayment amount?
The Minimum Monthly Payment (MMP) is equal to 3% of the outstanding balance of the account or $30.00, whichever is greater. For example: if the outstanding balance is $5,000, then the MMP is $150. You will receive a monthly statement setting out the amount and payment due date. A $0.75 fee will apply to statements sent by Post. No fee will apply to e-statements.
PLEASE NOTE: That making only the minimum monthly repayment will not pay out the purchase within the interest free period.
How much do I need to pay to clear the loan within the Interest Free Period?
Amount financed + Annual fee ($99) divided by the Number of months = Monthly Repayment required to pay the loan out within the Interest Free period. This assumes no additional purchases, cash advances or any other fees and charges.
How can I make a repayment?
Repayments can be made by Direct Debit from your nominated bank account weekly, fortnightly or monthly at no charge. Alternatively, payments can be made via BPAY, POSTbillpay or by cheque. A non direct debit fee of $2.50 applies per transaction.
Can I make extra repayments?
Yes, at any time via BPAY, POSTbillpay or by cheque. Direct Debit is the preferred method of repayment to keep the account up to date. Direct Debits can be set up weekly, fortnightly or monthly. Payments using Direct Debit will not incur a charge. Payment methods other than Direct Debit will incur a fee of $2.50 per transaction.
Can I payout the loan at any time?
Yes, no penalties apply for early termination of the account.
What happens after the account is settled?
You will receive a welcome letter followed by a Once Visa Debit card within 7-10 days.
Can I re-use my account after my balance is repaid?
Yes, you certainly can.
How can I obtain a Credit Limit increase?
It's easy, just call Once on 1300 661 505, Mondays to Fridays (between 8.30 am and 5.30 pm EST) and the customer service team will assist you with a limit review.
I am an existing Once customer and currently have a MyBuy account, do I need to re-apply?
No, if you already have a MyBuy line of credit account, then you do NOT have to re-apply.
If you have registered for Online Access then to proceed with the interest free purchase you just need to log on as an Existing customer using your customer number and password. If you are not set up with on-line access, just call Once on 1300 661 505 or email firstname.lastname@example.org and asked to be set up with on-line access (you will need your customer number and password for this to be done)
