What happens once I place an online order?

Your order will be processed and one of our representatives will contact you via email or phone to confirm delivery time before items are dispatched from the warehouse.

How much can I expect to pay for delivery?

All delivery costs are calculated directly based on your items chosen and your location. We do our best to provide affordable rates Australia wide.

What is the depot discount offer?

To maximise savings for our customers we have negotiated reduced shipping rates to selected depots around Australia. Where we cannot deliver to your door we will offer the option of pickup from the nearest depot, to ensure we can provide you with our goods at an acceptable delivery rate.

Anys delivery issues will be highlighted within 48 hours as they are signed off by our third party carrier.

Does delivery include insurance?

No your initial delivery quote does not cover insurance. We will offer this to you once we have brokered the freight insurance and have an acceptable insurance quote for you.

When can I accept delivery?

Our in house delivery service is available Monday to Friday. Our third part carriers may work outside of these hours (especially in the more remote cases) but they will always let you know when to expect delivery.

What is your refund policy?

We follow the qld office of fair trading for all our customer service practices –

We do not give refunds for change of mind purchases – but you are certainly entitled to an exchange or credit note.

But you can choose a refund or exchange if an item has a major problem. This is when the item:

  • has a problem that would have stopped someone from buying the item if they had known about it
  • is unsafe
  • is significantly different from the sample or description
  • doesn’t do what we said it would, or what you asked for and can’t be easily fixed.

 

Alternatively, you can choose to keep the item and we will compensate you for any drop in value. If the problem is not major, we will repair the item within a reasonable time. If it is not repaired in a reasonable time you can choose a refund or replacement. Please keep your proof of purchase—e.g. your receipt.

 

Do my furniture items arrive assembled?

The majority of our items come assembled, yet boxed for protection during transit. Nearly 85% of our range is as easy as opening the box and removing any internal wrapping before your items are ready to enjoy. Items that require assembly should have clear instructions, however please contact office@thefurnitureshack.com.au should any issues arise.

What type of payments do you accept?

In our stores we offer cash, EFTPOS, Visa and Mastercard. Payments can be made on invoices directly to The Furniture Shack BSB 084 435 AC 571650656.

Online we offer Paypal, VISA, Mastercard and direct bank deposit.

Do you offer finance or layby?

We offer both these services ! Our finance is offered through ONCE credit pty ltd.
