The Furniture Shack’s philosophy aims to create an adventure when you enter one of our showrooms. Furthermore, we aim to excite with product design and amaze with price.

Once known as just a balinese furniture store, 2010 has seen the boys move away from this range due to customer feedback. 'Customers are telling us they are tired of the "Bali" look and are wanting something different' Shaun explains. ' We have responded by heading overseas and modifying our range to suit'. 'Bali is gone and warm, comfortable open plan living is here' Tim says.

Whilst the warm asian timber colours will still be utilised the carving is gone, the quality is up and functionality and comfort is of upmost importance. We now offer the biggest range of natural fibre lounges in a range of styles, designs and fabric colours. We have a huge range of '100% Outdoor Premium Synthetic Rattan Furniture' and aim to cater for queensland open plan living with 'Everything from Deck to Dining'. The Furniture Shack evolved from the passion of two young university graduates Tim Brook and Shaun Green. When analyzing the South East Queensland furniture market they noticed there was a distinct lack of good quality affordable furniture.

By combining their passion for natural furnishings and savvy business ideas they were able to create the concept of The Furniture Shack, a place where the latest designs from around the globe could be offered direct to the public at factory direct prices. “We have always tried to box above our weight class…and by that I mean we know we aren’t the biggest furniture retailer, but we don’t use this as an excuse not to be the best in all aspects”, states Shaun Green. This has been proven over the last 7 years through growth which has seen The Furniture Shack go from one small (shed like) showroom in Caboolture to 4 massive showrooms located in Morayfield, Brisbane, Capalaba and the Gold Coast. The boys understand that The Furniture Shack is only as good as its people and have hand selected sales people in these areas who they feel truly reflect the dynamic culture of the business. “We have come a long way in terms of business structure, but one thing we haven’t forgotten is that our people and our customers are number one”, states Tim Brook.
